The head football coach is responsible for all high school football activities. The head football coach is responsible for various aspects of the football program, such as recruiting within the school, scheduling opponents (in conjunction with the Athletic Director), training, and coaching team members. The head coach will instruct athletes in fundamentals, develop character, model expected behavior, and support the feeder programs. In addition, the coach should have varsity coaching experience (head coaching experience prefered), excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work with players, parents, administration, and other coaches.
